Your Responsibilities

Strategy Shaper – You inspire as a tech leader, shaping the technology strategy and vision across the entire company including engineering and data. Therefore, you involve important stakeholders like our Head of Product and our COO
Technical Visionary – You oversee the execution of the technical roadmap in corporation with Product and Design, and proactively address and resolve technical challenges
Engaging Builder – You are responsible for building up the engineering team and ensuring they are always on the right track and remain motivated. As Head of Engineering, you promote team cohesion, but also manage to develop the team members on an individual level

Your profile

Leadership Experience – You have already successfully proven yourself as a Head of Engineering, Tech Lead, or similar position in a fast-growing environment and managed to successfully develop and motivate your employees through mentoring and coaching
Technical Footprint – You don't have to be an expert in our stack, but you do have significant experience (Ruby & Rails, TypeScript & React, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Heroku)) and keep the quality high
Comprehensive Skill Set – You have a strong technical acumen in project planning with the ability to identify bottlenecks and execute complex technology initiatives, and you bring along excellent communication skills (fluency in German and English)
Team Player – You are empathetic and manage to strengthen the team with your committed and goal-oriented manner
